This hotel was one of the preferred hotels for NCA Cheer Nationals. First issue is the room. There is a tiny closet for clothes. That's it. No dressers. Room supposedly could accommodate 3 people. We stayed for 4 days and had our clothing piled up all over the room since there were no drawers. Next issue the elevators. They are "modern " type" where you have to choose the floor before you get on and it tells you what car. Problem was sometimes when you try and select floor it says please try again later. I called front desk and was told "it's because they are busy". I was on floor 9 and walked down because elevators were showing up empty but they weren't going to the floor you needed and you can't pick a floor once inside! The next issue was the person cleaning the room put 1 bath towel. There were 3 of us. We went down to get towels and they were out of them! Asked for one extra pillow. They had no more. The area rug in the room was filthy. I would rather no rug since the floor is wood. The sleeper sofa killed my daughters back so she squeezed in our bed. This hotel should have been more prepared for this weekend. They knew they were sold out. I would not stay here again due to the problems we encountered.

Completely unimpressed with this hotel. Started with confusing to find the right lobby, the sign pointing to the lobby was PAST the lobby entrance. If you get on the elevator without choosing your floor from outside the elevator, you are screwed. There are literally NO BUTTONS in the elevator. The rooms were "modern" and had nowhere to unpack. I've attached a picture, the room sleeps 4 and there was literally one small drawer in the entire room. No microwave. Terrible view of a parking ramp, another building, and some random guy trying to take pictures/videos of us. No room service. The bar/restaurant closed early because it was a slow night. Homeless people all over so did not feel safe to walk outside the hotel. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Valet parking issues

The hotel was perfectly fine. The rooms were somewhat sparsely appointed, but that's the deal with AC, it's cheaper but still feels like a Marriott. We stayed mainly for the location, as we wanted to be able to walk to Deep Ellum, the Majestic, and the AT&T Discovery Plaza. It was perfect. During our stay we heard other guests complain about the elevators, and about how the hotel shares facilities with the Residence Inn, but none of that bothered us. I thought the elevators were great, we never had to wait. We didn't try the bar or the pool, but the fitness center was top notch. My problem was with the valet parking. The hotel requires all guests to use the valet, which is contracted through a separate company. Because none of the valet drivers could drive a stick shift, I had to park and pick up my car myself. I was still charge the full $150 for valet parking for a two-night stay. I explained to the valet manager that I didn't feel it was right to charge me for valet parking when I was not in fact provided with valet parking, and he agreed, apologized profusely, and agreed to provide a full refund. Great. The refund never came through. I have no way to follow up with the valet company, because the hotel staff is unwilling or unable to provide their contact information when I call. The best they can do is give my phone number to the valets and ask them to call me, which of course has not happened. My only recourse is to dispute the charge through my credit card company. I get that the valet is a separate company and the hotel staff is not responsible for any issues they cause, but I didn't appreciate the "not my problem" attitude of the hotel staff whenever the subject of the valet is raised. I feel like if the hotel is going to require guests to use this service, then they should train their staff to act as liason. Instead they tell me I have to deal directly with the valet company, but they can't give me their phone number.

This hotel doesn’t look much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the room. I hadn’t realised it was a suite rather than a room and it was huge with a full size fridge and the largest microwave I’ve ever seen! Location was good, walkable to Dealey Plaza and with a few restaurants close by.

Very disappointed for a hotel that charges $400+ per night. 1- the TV in the room didn’t work well. It was one of the older ones. 2- what I can’t forgive is that they stall my personal item. These items were either stolen from my bag while it was stored at the front desk or I left it in my room and house Leon didn’t return it to lost and found. These were grooming items that wouldn’t be used by multiple people, which makes it gross that someone would steal them. I recommend you take your money elsewhere.
